That's what it was. It worked fine. I like that the Conky got fixed and works correctly. I also like that the scaling got fixed with higher DPI settings. Themeing is nicer. Great work by the MX team.dolphin_oracle wrote:yeah, I think the TV is being picked up as primary. I would try unplugging and rebooting. Or turning on the TV.

No, I am using MX-16.1. But I had an issue with MX-17 that was resolved by dolphin_oracle.Paul.. wrote:Umm...@Mauser...you appear to be using MX-16

Re: MX-17 Beta 1 Feedback Thread
i find it is odd that mx-linux didn't provide any optimizer like stacer or beachbit. any reason why? or there is one that i missed.
i installed stacer to get rid off thumbnails/logs/residues to clean up.

Re: MX-17 Beta 1 Feedback Thread
One could easily ask, why wasn't application x, y or z included. The simple answer is, developer's decision. In any case it is easily added from the Debian repos.

Did we use to include bleachbit? Maybe we thought it was a bit too dangerous for absolute beginners.

I think we did, and that was why it was removed.Stevo wrote:Did we use to include bleachbit? Maybe we thought it was a bit too dangerous for absolute beginners.

Rightfully so if it works anything like diskcleaner in Windows. When I used Windows that was the worst thing I clicked on.richb wrote:I think we did, and that was why it was removed.Stevo wrote:Did we use to include bleachbit? Maybe we thought it was a bit too dangerous for absolute beginners.

Wireless will not connect. This seams to be an issue with all Debian Stretch based distributions. I'm in hopes that there will be a fix come through the pipe for this. I do not have a wired connection available to do an addition to or an update. I'm sure I am not the only one it this grand world of ours that will see this related issue. Thank you all for your great work! =-)
