Terminal Emulator Choices

What terminal do y'all use?

I'm finding the default XFCE Terminal is surprisingly great, but I'm also eyeing Terminator. It's a little more similar to Terminology, which I used to use on Bodhi Linux.

(Side note which should probably be its own topic: is there a way to get Terminology on MX? Or can we get it into the MX repos?)

It's funny after all my years using Linux I never really think about what terminal I use and I've used them all. Even little LXterminal served my purposes. I did sometimes find I liked Gnome's Root terminal, but Xfce Terminal certainly does the job :)

If terminology isn't in the test repo, it will be shortly.

gnome-terminal is right now my first choose.

I do only a very limited number of things in terminal, so any terminal that comes default with the distro I'm running at the moment is fine. The only one so far that puzzles me is Termite. It doesn't seem possible to select any of the text output within for copying.

I use the terminal for one thing or another every day. I use the default xfce terminal. It does what I need to do so I have not had any need to look for something different.

I use the default terminal emulator without any problem as far as I am concerned.
If I did encounter an issue I would just use the real terminal instead.

I didn't check the test repo. Haven't played around with changing sources yet, but I might just now. Thanks for the prod!

You don't have to change sources manually or via Synaptic.

OPen MX Package Installer ==> Full App Catalog tab, and choose MX Test Repo from there. MXPI will automatically disable Test Repo after you've installed whatever you want from there.

Adding to asqwerth's suggestion, mxpackagr installer doesn't even enable the test repo unless you actually install something, so it's a very safe way to browse the test repo.
