It was all my own work, no cats involved. Can see the funny side and also thinking that if i had not added another icon, with xfce deciding
to move it, the duplicates might not have noticed for weeks.

Primary: Dell9010, MX-18, Win7, 120 SSD, WD 232GIB HD, 4GB RAM
Backup :Homebrew64 bit Intel duo core 2 GB RAM, 120 GB Kingston SSD, Seagate1TB.
MX-17.1 64bit. Also MX17, Kubuntu14.04 & Puppy 6.3.

Mike: I should thank you too - it was the adding of Digikam so that I could look at your problem that triggered it all.
