any easy way to reverse the panel icons?

#1 Post by mmikeinsantarosa » Fri May 22, 2015 2:06 pm

When I changed the panel from vertical to horizontal and located at the bottom of my display, I was hoping to keep the start button, Shutdown group in the left hand corner of the display but the opposite is what I get. Is there a switch somewhere I'm missing that would reverse the way the panel icons are arranged? What I was hoping for was a pseudo kde style panel...Start on the left and & clock etc on the right.

Right click on the icon, and click move. Then you can drag them to the left

Right click on the icon, and click move

The easy way is in Panel Preferences > Items:
click on the arrow icons for up and down.

Thanks Richard, that's closer to what I was looking for. More precisely would be something called "flip" or "reverse" icon layout that iterated over the collection of objects in the panel and relocated them rereferenced to their respective opposite ends of the panel. That's my kind of lazy ;)
