Lenovo Thinkpad X200 Install.

#1 Post by John Gay »

So my next target is a Lenovo Thinkpad X200 Laptop.
P8400 2.26GHz Core2 Duo
GM45 Intel Graphics
4G RAM
931.5GiB Hard Drive
and Intel WiFi Link 5300
I'm currently running Bodhi Linux on it, but I'm looking forward to a more conventional Desktop.
And since I've recently solved my Wine/Pepakur issues, hopefully this will be an even easier install.

Cheers,

John Gay

I had an X201 and I'm using an X220 right now. That should work well. Let us know how it goes.

Just did a test drive from DVD. Did a full update, installed libOSMesa6 and libOSMesa6:i386 and Wine and pepakura installed and ran fine . . ., until the system started to thrash the DVD.
But I'm sure it'll be fine from hard drive.
