USB mounting problem and mx tweak mounting problem

#1 Post by mihail_bc »

In MX Tools pannel > MX Tweak > Other tab > Enable mounting of internal drives by non-root users if checked, after hitting Apply button gets unchecked, it doesnt save the selection.

In Thunar usb devices arent automatically mounted. I have to edit manually fstab, step which wasnt a must do in the previuos versions.

again, pkexec problem. mx-tweak utilizes policykit and pkexec to make its changes. So you've got something wrong that is preventing policykit/pkexec from operating. Likely the gnome-authentication-agent isn't starting.3

If you've done heavy modifications to your system, its time to examine what you've done.

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.
