MX-18 won't boot up (cancel)

#1

Post by Mauser » Thu Jan 10, 2019 1:40 pm

I have built a new desktop computer. When I boot from a known good usb everything goes well until part way through the boot process seeing text the video signal goes dead. The monitor shows loss of video signal. I tried every possible configuration in the bios and the same thing happens. I have a an Athlon cup with Vega graphics and an asus tug x470 plus motherboard. Any ideas.
I am command line illiterate.

The reasons for that problem and other problems are because ASUS employ idiots.

Yes, it's because the Bios needed to be updated but the idiots at ASUS said nothing about it. I still have other issues which the idiots at ASUS still can't tell me how to set up a RAID 10 which I just did now. My last problem I will post in a new thread which is MX-18 and Gparted can't detect a virgin RAID 10 and 4 new virgin unformated HHDs. I am using my new computer build using a live USB.
