Deleted "nonfree" and "nosystemd" from the section list: result - no errors when reloading!
Phew!
Thanks, Kent.
fixed.
why the archive entries? are the others due to vanish?kmathern wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2019 12:00 pm I'd suggest to following changes to https://mxlinux.org/wiki/system/repos-mx-15/
In antix.list change:
# Use with Debian Stable/Jessie repositories.
deb http://antix.daveserver.info/jessie http://repo.antixlinux.com/jessie jessie main
In debian.list change:
# Debian Stable Jessie. Default for MX-15.
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/jessie http://archive.debian.org/debian/jessie main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ jessie/updates main contrib non-free
#deb-src http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/jessie http://archive.debian.org/debian/jessie main contrib non-free
# Multimedia Stable
# Use to install libdvdcss2 and codecs.
#deb http://www.deb-multimedia.org jessie main non-free
#deb http://www.deb-multimedia.org testing main non-free
The debian.list section of the MX-16 wiki page should probably also be changed to the archive.debian.org entries.
The main Debian Jessie repos have been on the archive.debian.org server since around the time Buster was released. They're still on the Debian servers too but I don't know for how long. They aren't receiving any updates. The jessie repos at security.debian.org are the only debian repos still receiving updates (LTS updates).dolphin_oracle wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2019 12:02 pm why the archive entries? are the others due to vanish?
