MX 14.4 Repos - What are the current/final urls for EOL Snapshot?

#1 Post by Hierax_ca »

What are the current/final urls for the MX 14.4 Repos?

similar problem to this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=91&t=41814

I replaced the daveserver with "http://iso.mxrepo.com/antix/stable/" as recommended there and that fixed one error. but I'm getting an GPG error with the http://main.mepis-deb.org/mepiscr/xfce saying that "signatures were invalid: NO DATA 1 NODATA 2", and I worry that the other main.mepis one might also give an error too.

I checked the website https://mxlinux.org/wiki/system/repos-mx-14 but it also lists the same one.

Is there an up-to-date list of working repos? I'd like to make an archival final fully updated backup Snapshot of MX-14.4 at it's EOL for support ending on May 31st.

Thanks!
MX-17.1: Thinkpad x60t, x61t, x200t, x220t.
MX-18 (32-bit) Thinkpads: 600x*, A31p, T43p, T60p;
MX-18 (64-bit): MacBook13(5,1), Thinkpad x61s, T61pW, T601pF, x200, x301*, T500, W500, W700, W700ds, W701, W701ds*, x220, W520.

For any repositories beginning with main.mepis-deb.org, replace that part of the url with mxrepo.com
The full list for MX-14 is here: https://mxlinux.org/wiki/system/repos-mx-14
It does not list any repositories containing main.mepis-deb
HP Pavillion TP01, AMD Ryzen 3 5300G (quad core), Crucial 500GB SSD, Toshiba 6TB 7200rpm
Dell Inspiron 15, AMD Ryzen 7 2700u (quad core). Sabrent 500GB nvme, Seagate 1TB

Excellent -- Thank You!

Worked great, now I have a completely updated End-of-Life backup:
  • Debian "Wheezy" upgraded to 7.11 (2016-06-04),
  • Kernels upgraded to 3.16.39-1+deb8u1-bpo70+1 (2017-02-24)
It's interesting to look back on where we came from. MX-14 got me started with antiX/MX-Linux (and was the 2nd Linux distro I tried) and convinced me to make the switch to Linux at a hard time in my life. It still makes for a solid working system even though many improvements have been made over the years making MX better and better!
