Little error bug thingie on printers preferences

Menu - settings - printing - right click properties.

Pop up screen: ERROR Option 'printer-resolution' has value '(unknown IPP tag)' and cannot be edited

That point in time is the first time it shows up, and every time I hit apply. Doesn't affect anything from what I can see, the settings take just fine.

(I hope it is ok to report this sort of little thing.. )

Eadwine - it's easier to post the screenshot again. As you say, it doesn't seem to affect printer operation.

I would say the reason for the error is the lack of a proper driver. What happens if you install print-driver-gutenprint from the repos and see if there is a better driver or the manufacturers driver if the first option does not work

I am getting this "error" on MX installed on AspireONE netbook.
Printer is networked Kyocera FS-1010 using the manufacturer's driver (which MX found for me) and printing seems to work in spite of the "error".

Same here with a wireless connected HP. However scanning does not work.

Same error here with a networked Brother HL4040CN, using the drivers from Brother's website. It works fine once installed.

(No drivers available from printer-driver-gutenprint).
