Just read a NYT article on the history of CO2 and the failed actions towards reform.

Previously I’ve read and recommend reading a great book laying out the scientific proof of climate change called, The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History by Elizabeth Kolbert
And yes the technology exists to save ourselves but the failure is totally political.
