I've never liked football, as one friend recently remarked, 'where's the fun in watching 22 millionaires chasing a ball round a field'!" As a teen I went to watch Arsenal play a live game in an effort to find something interesting in it. So bored by half time I went for a wander around London shops instead and met the coach back home to Peterborough/ Stamford in time.
Still, each to his own!

Lol ... The players have nothing to do with it, it is the patrons (some, mécène in french) who instead of bet on the horses or the works of art, put now on the stars of football.
... I'm not interested in those millionaires in shorts too, and I mostly see these matches like a nice show ...

Well.. to be accurate, it is usually only 20 of them chasing the ball
