Yes, watched the glitchy (at least here) live stream on Youtube. Loved the shot when the fairing separated and the camera showed the cockpit of Musk's roadster in space with DON'T PANIC on the dash screen as Bowie's Starman played.

They've rescheduled the Feb 10 launch to the 17th of a Falcon launch from Vandenberg here in California to the 17th.

Code: Select all

NET FEB 17 Dawn? Falcon 9 SLC-4E Vehicle will launch Spain's Paz earth observation satellite. Backup launch date is FEB 2. Liftoff may occur during morning twilight and cause the exhaust plume to be illuminated by the sun when the vehicle reaches high altitude
A similar launch just after sunset in December put on a real sky show here in San Diego. I could see the first stage separate and fall all the way down to its first slowdown burn. I don't know about this "dawn" thing, though.

Yes, up in space and boring tunnels into the Earth. I just hope he doesn't become a Bond supervillian.

2/ re-read Guy Debord's "La société du spectacle"
3/ puke again
4/ delete anything related to glamrock stored in my HDDs (except "Darling Limbo" and TRex xxxxxxx)
5/ re^n-watch "Dead Leaves" then re^n-read Guy Debord's "La société du spectacle"
6/ your turn
