Re: MX を使おう (Japanese/English)
Fast and thorough! Congratulations.
I imagine that is a modern typeface suited to on-screen display, like Arial in English, rather than a more traditional style?

Re: MX を使おう (Japanese/English)
Thank you for your nice comments.
Access to the old site "MEPIS と antiX" was the largest among Debian derived sites.
This is a situation where Japanese users using MX Linux are obtained.
As the situation has changed recently in MX Linux, I decided to rebuild the site.
The Japanese font will be displayed in the font included in your OS.

Is this an opinion on the English font? It may change.tascoast wrote: I imagine that is a modern typeface suited to on-screen display, like Arial in English, rather than a more traditional style?

Re: MX を使おう (Japanese/English)
Of course, you are quite right. The Japanese text looks sleek and clear on MX here, by default. The Japanese font will be displayed in the font included in your OS.

The site is looking good on this old 32 bit MacBook using FF 45.6.0. Clear as a bell.

Re: MX を使おう (Japanese/English)
It appears to be caused by the installed font. It will look normal in the installation of Japanese fonts.tascoast wrote:The Japanese text looks sleek and clear on MX here, by default.

Re: MX を使おう (Japanese/English)
As a precaution, I referred to the site from the MX-16 ISO live. It will display normally.
Probably Japanese will be hidden when the browser fails to load CSS or JS.
It is possible that the server was temporarily unstable.
