Well... that is exactly what the linked articles suggest, that prices for SSDs will fall significantly in the course of 2019 and that capacities will reach new levels, making SSDs viable in areas and for people previously not interested.

So anyone who doesn't currently have a burning need for an SSD should perhaps wait a little. My 2p of course.
