So far have seen AntiC, SteveO, and Adrian as familiar names from the Forums at Mepis.org; but I'm sure I'll recognize more people as time passes. So happy to see the community so active over here.

:welcome: Nice to see familiar names :)

Discovered Dedoimedo by chance and got introduce to Mx Linux by him/her.
So being a Linux noob and after trying Manjaro, Fedora, Antergos, Busenlabs, Sabayon, Void Linux, Opensuse, Solus, Slackware, TrueOS, some of the Ubuntu family and a couple more I can't remember right now, Mx 17 works flawlessly where others failed at one thing or another.
Greetings from Portugal and excuse my English :p

OK, I'll say hi.

Hello all. My name is Glenn from Salem Mass, just north of Boston.

I joined this board October 2016 but this may well be my first post here. I'm primarily a Fedora user and have been using Linux for a long time, since the Fedora Core 1 days or well before that. Caldera Linux anyone? Mandrake Linux?

I mutli-boot my desktop and laptop because I like to try as many distros as I can. Too many really. I guess it is a hobby.

There are many extremely stable, usable and pretty distros available today, MX17being one of them. It surely makes it tough to settle on just one. I'm still shopping

So, Fedora I love, but I'm getting tired of the frequent (almost daily) kernel updates. Really high maintenance. MX17 is awesome, as is Lubuntu, Linux Mint, Ubuntu Mate and Voyager Linux to name a few. All of them are usable right out of the box but, I'm like a little kid who can't sit still. I've got to play with them all
