glables looks pretty nice.
Using the LO method, I couldn't add records to the table once in base, which means, I'd have to go through the whole process of converting a recently edited spreadsheet into a database, importing and merging again.

With glabels, just edit the csv spreadsheet (more or less records/rows) and bang it against the existing (previously created) label file. It does have a bug though. You have to reset the merge ref file to a different type (csv with keys) and let it load then change it back to what it was (csv no keys) for it to realize the edits you might have just made.

I think we'll go with glabels.

Stretch has a newer version of glabels that looks like it shouldn't be any trouble to backport; maybe that will fix that bug.
