libreoffice icon on desktop will not open openoffice

libreoffice icon on desktop will not open openoffice

I am using mepis 11 and in the past it was working fine, now when I click the libreoffice icon,
it does not open libreoffice.

If you upgraded LO recently, it may be pointing to the wrong target. Right-click the icon > Properties, click on the edit (pencil) icon and see where the command points.

I would myself try just deleting that icon and creating a new one.
