MX-16 Community Repository forum?

#1 Post by Jerry3904 »

I just made a package request and noticed that there is no MX-16 subforum. It seems we have 2 choices:

1) Create a new subforum "Package Requests/Status - MX-16"
2) Rename current "Package Requests/Status - MX-15" to something like "Package Requests/Status - MX-15/16" (my pref if possible).

Action step?
Production: 5.10, MX-23 Xfce, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 16 GB, SSD 120 GB, Data 1TB
Personal: Lenovo X1 Carbon with MX-23 Fluxbox and Windows 10
Other: Raspberry Pi 5 with MX-23 Xfce Raspberry Pi Respin

I can do that. Any objections to 2? That would be my preference as well.

How about a Nr 3 : Package Requests/Status MX

No package numbers, then it does not need another update in the future ?

With the MX release number it is easy for the users to know which packages are available for which release because we aren't always able to backport packages for all versions of MX.

Yes, how quickly we forget the Wheezy-based MX 14. :p 15-16 are going to be pretty much the same, though.
