Boot splash and login screenshot... how? [solved]
How to take screenshots of boot splash and login screen? And where does the shot save. Key "PrtScr" supposed to do, but doesn't.

Re: Boot splash and login screenshot... how?
The screenshot of splash and login screens I have made within a KVM/Qemu VM running MX Linux.
Gigabyte Z77M-D3H, Intel Xeon E3-1240 V2 (Quad core), 32GB RAM,
GeForce GTX 770, Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB, Seagate Barracuda 4TB

Re: Boot splash and login screenshot... how?
I am familiar with VirtualBox but not KVM/Qemu. I would not install VirtualBox just for two screenshots. I checked if MX has wiki page or somewhere about KVM, to have an idea if its worthy to install.... none. At How-To-Geek didn't work.

you can use the preview function in mx-boot-options to see the plymouth boot splash.

Thanks dolphin_oracle. For the login I used the second option (script) in this link.

If you install Polo File Manager from the test repo, one of its features is the ability to boot an ISO in a virtual machine, though not with the resizing features of MX in Virtual Box.
