Many posters having seem to be having trouble installing WINE in MX 17.1, 64 bit... Before I get started, I just wonder how successful any members have been installing as per the WIKI

Please do install wine from MX Package Installer -> Popular Apps. After installation do run wine-configuration "Configure Wine" from the menu (in case it will not run automatically after installation). Thank you for your reply, fehlix...I installed just as you suggested, and it was a 100% success...I have installed WINE in other distros, and it has not always been a fruitful venture...Thanks again. :)
