I have been testing a lot of updates from MX test repo and I updated the whisker menu from there also I am almost positive and now MX-17 Greybird theme doesnt work. It works on panel but not in whisker menu. By the way everything other than that works great so far. Maybe the theme needs updating. Also on blackbird theme everything works besides the whisker menu panel button. Maybe its something I have done anyhting besides the updates. Thanks.

that is very likely, as our MX_greybird only has a whisker theme for gtk2, not gtk3.

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

This was known, and why I refrained from updating to the GTK 3 2.X versions (another packager sent up 2.1.5). Our 1.X versions in main track the GTK 2 series updates, so there's little reason to use the GTK 3 version unless you want to test it.

Yes, MX-greybird theme was specially tweaked (in the gtk2 portion) so that the whisker menu would have a particular shade of dark blue.

Without it, normal greybird theme would probably just give you a grey gtk2 whisker menu.

Thank you guys for the quick response. Hey it not big deal for me. I like the newer stuff and I never keep anything worth while on my PC so I just test crap all the time. I would like to tell everyone that uses the Adapta themes that I found a package that is a deb file and it is called papirus-folders and it allows you to change the color of the thunar folders for all variants of the adapta-gtk-theme so you can match a lot better ya know with whatever. Here it is.... papirus-folders_1.0.0-1_57_ubuntu18.04.1_all.deb........ I know it is a ubuntu deb but it installed fine and is working great. They have one for ubuntu 18.10 and also for 18.04 both with same version number so I chose the 18.04 file and it installed without needing to install anything extra. I don't normally install stuff from ubuntu but since they had it in a deb file I went for it.

It is more useful to us packagers if you gave the actual location of where you found the .deb instead of just its name, since we could probably rebuild it from source for our own repos. That said, the Google can probably dig up the location from just the name.
