Added the ISO site to the Download list. Much appreciated.
Should I add it to MX Repo Manager? What about UK one any news on that one?

Neither of the UK people has said a word for the last 2 weeks, so I can't see waiting for them. Though Murphy's law says that as soon as you receive the app they will show up

-we may get a mirror in Vietnam later (not yet sure)
-but I was asked whether we also need a mirror in France. Is any interest here (seems that former at vinzv is out of service) or the German and Dutch ones suffice?

Vietnam would be awesome. As far as France is concerned, we have many French speakers/users and much if not all of the documentation has been translated, so it would be excellent to have a mirror there for the future.

@anticapitalista, @Jerry3904:
Ok, I will follow-up on this.
By the way in my opinion, as we are not CentOS, Arch or Ubuntu, we just don't need as many mirrors as them, but what we need some strategically located ones, help the local users. I recall giving up on Neptune OS after it took me ages to download the iso in China, despite I liked it.

2 cents what I would do, say first at least one
-for each country ~100 Mil population (Brasil, China, Turkey, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, etc) as the users are there and infrastructure is good
-regions we know have many Linux users no matter population (something like Germany),
-international hubs with great infrastructure serving surrounding regions (HK, Dubai, SG, South Africa, Australia)

It makes sense to look at Debian list of secondary servers (as it would be just convenient to be hosted at the same). Or at Arch and Suse list (as they rate them as Tier 1-3 or *-**** respectively). Picking Tier 1 and ***-**** first as they are evaluated already, taking only those hosting various distros, as these would be servers either at Universities or supporting open source community. Short email to an admin would likely work.

P.S. And it would be good to know where most MX/Antix users are mainly located besides US, DE, FR.

Thanks, good thoughts.

We tried in the past to do that, but often get no response at all. Might be time to try again, though. There's usually only one person working in that area, though, so we would appreciate any help.

I did this before the summer and was able to get the following mirrors.

Colombia - Espejo Público Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana
Denmark - Dotsrc.org
Germany - RWTH Aachen University
Germany - Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen - Nürnberg
Netherlands - NLUUG
Poland - ICM - University of Warsaw
Russia - truenetwork

I emailed many, many more. Some replied and said they were not mirroring any extra distros due to space constraints. Most did not reply.
