Hi.
Most email notification give me a https link but some of the email notifications that I get give me a http link instead of https link. I've got a cookie white-list setup in Firefox and when I click on the http link in the email - it does not login me in. I can cut the url and paste back in, adding the s to the end of http but this is tedious.
Why aren't all email notifications giving https links?

Not sure We switched to https some time ago and the address links should be preceded as such. I have subscribed to those two threads to test what I will get. Perhaps you can post a test to each so I can see the result in my inbox.

Hi Rich. Thanks. Those 2 threads are fairly active so both should get new posts soon. Perhaps notifications for old threads did not get updated to https?richb wrote:Not sure We switched to https some time ago and the address links should be preceded as such. That is certainly possible. I checked some threads back to 2011 and they show as https. And both those threads, as you indicated, are new and show as https both in Google Chrome and Firefox. Any one else have any ideas?

I seem to recall some forum discussion on this some time ago, and I think it might depend on the post reply you are being notified of. If that poster replied via http, your notification link is http as well.Raymzap wrote:Hi Rich. Thanks. Those 2 threads are fairly active so both should get new posts soon. That sounds very plausible.asqwerth wrote:

All the emails notifying me about posts to those two threads are https. I think Asqwerth's response is most likely the answer.asqwerth wrote:
