While I'm a Star Trek fan too, this sounds like Windows Enterprise Edition...Raymzap wrote:Enterprise as the next MX codename.

In the 'Manage popular packages' section inside MX Tools. Instead of having installed apps be greyed out (IMO this loooks like they're not available) - perhaps have them checked and replace the Install and Uninstall buttons with a single Apply button. So to uninstall something, uncheck it and apply - likewise for installing apps.

Frankly I would find that more confusing. Quite clear to me as it is.Raymzap wrote:In the 'Manage popular packages' section inside MX Tools. Hi Rich. How do you find it confusing? It's the same method that Synaptic uses.richb wrote:Frankly I would find that more confusing. Re: Suggestions for Future Versions
Synaptic has a grayed box for uninstalled and a colored box with a check mark for installed. Not quite the same.

Re: Suggestions for Future Versions
They are not greyed out in Synaptic. They are non-colored. The method is the same as my suggestion. How is having an unchecked box and checked box with an Apply button (like in Synaptic) confusing?richb wrote:Synaptic has a grayed box for uninstalled and a colored box with a check mark for installed.
