New image covers 1/3 screen each post on mobile device[SOLVED]

There is a new image, or perhaps I only noticed it because it covers about 1/3 to 1/2 of the mobile phone screen with each post. It has only become an issue in the last few days.

To appreciate the relative size of screen coverage, click on the image.

With the ongoing campaign to reduce bandwidth usage, I wonder if this image is copied or replicated on each post.

It's possible it is only an issue on mobile devices?

Not having much luck annexing a screenshot from my phone.
Well, it shows up on PC, so it's an issue on android mobile devices?

Looks normal, no image, on my Samsung S9 + using Chrome. What browser are you using?

No image on my Samsung Galaxy S5 using either Via browser or Chrome.

Believe it's added by the browser when an image can't be loaded. Could be the avatar in this case.

Richard, have you disabled downloading images in your browser settings? All I see is Eadwine Rose's avatar, in an appropriately small size. Maybe try clearing your cache and cookies, resetting the settings to defaults, or create a new profile if your mobile browser allows you to, in that order.

That is likely. The avatar normally will be a very small image next to the user name.

Yes, that is what it used to be.
I'll try you all's suggestions and will advise.

I confirm that it works fine on Laptop,
but strange. Firefox on both.

Seeing undefined image only in editing mode.

Apparently, I did.
It was set to Download over WiFi only.
I must have thought that was a good thing. :)
