Re: A New MX/ antiX Wiki?
Again I suggest holding off until the new Website and wiki go live, which will be imminent.

Re: A New MX/ antiX Wiki?
If the new one uses MediaWiki I would likely be able to assist some. (These days I'm too lazy to learn another markup.)

Re: A New MX/ antiX Wiki?
The "only" problem with that is that MediaWiki look & feel would never be able to handle the look (theming) of a Wordpress site.

Re: A New MX/ antiX Wiki?
Really, that's not a PROBLEM on this forum. THIS is a FORUM, not a users manual (or a Wiki).Bluesguy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 12:12 am Here we go ...splintering off into a new thread ... the problem, as I see it, is that on this Forum, in general, you have to spend an inordinate amount of time sifting-through/searching/connecting-the-dots in order to get a clear picture of suggestions/opinions/fixes/ etc. ...
The current antiX/MX wiki isn't really a wiki, but it is GOOD. It's more like an extension of useful information and I personally appreciate it for what it is. I wish I had the bandwidth to put my hat in the ring.

Mod note Eadwine: Topic locked. MX team needs to discuss this first. Wait for team leaders please, they will determine what can be done by others.
edit: Reopened, apologies Manyroads for locking temporarily. We need to set parameters among the Devs, hence. Thanks everyone for your patience!

Re: A New MX/ antiX Wiki?
I appreciate Bluesguy's initiate that new comers and members from other distros are coming. This wiki topic came up in the process. And few members got interested to discuss what can be done. Thanks, manyroads for starting this thread.
At this stage I will wait until the new MX site and wiki is up and running. I had a look at the WP wiki-plugins, there are few concerning questions. Maybe MX team has an other solution. See you later in this thread.

No problem @Eadwine. I am happy to hear what the devs think best for a Wiki....Eadwine Rose wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 4:18 am Mod note Eadwine: Topic locked. MX team needs to discuss this first. Wait for team leaders please, they will determine what can be done by others.
