I just had to search around to find "New Posts" (in the menu). That's the prime button that I use. I log in & hit it.

[edit:] Then I hit the "Mark forum's read" button on the way out.

I have a bookmark for new posts, you can make a bookmark for active posts too, it might be easier than hunt a link on the forum...

I would still love to have a button for Active topics & New posts even though they are in the Quick Links.
Only a couple of extra clicks but still... :)

Haven't found the trick for forum bookmarks yet. Maybe it's my browser?

Maybe in the little wrench at the bottom?

Not likely. They were removed by phpBB in their code.

I've regularly used Quick LInks - where available.

OK. Thought that might be the case. :)
I find the Forum Bookmarks which works for posts but not for topics, I think.

Maybe that's the replacement?
And there's always the "Go back" button

I think those who referred to bookmarks are using Browser bookmarks. You can can put the bookmark in your Bookmarks bar.

I'm not seeing post numbers within a thread, guess they're gone (should check settings, though).

Now that you mention it, yeah... hadn't noticed that yet.

You can still link to a post though, the little sheet icon holds the permalink.
