And now I understand where or at least why and how that convention gained traction. I always thought it was just to assign a referent to another poster.

Something I just noticed, is that I can't enlarge the forum as much as I like to, without it mucking up its layout. Its OK when I go into a post, but the file list before I select one pushes the last poster & time over to the left hand side under the title of the thread.

[edit:] Hmm... I just went out of this thread & it doesn't do it anymore... Looks like a bug to me.
