There have been a few complaints about it to the LO mail group, one started a slanging match, but it is behaving okay for me. Look to be expanding the multi-lingual options too.
Backup: Dell9010, MX-18.2, Win7, 120 SSD, WD 232GIB HD, 4GB RAM
Primary :Homebrew64 bit Intel duo core 2 GB RAM, 120 GB Kingston SSD, Seagate1TB.
MX-18.2 64bit. Also MX17, Kubuntu14.04 & Puppy 6.3.

One thing I noticed today is that it is working again for me with mail merge, which was all screwed up in the previous version. I use that a lot for all communications with vendors and clients, so this is a big plus.
