Have just read that MX-18 is no longer being seeded from Linuxtracker because of Malware.
I am seeding both Antix 17.3.1 and MX-18 from DistroWatch
https://distrowatch.com/dwres.php?resou ... order=name Sorted by name
Where else is MX-18 officially being seeded currently from from? Has Antix torrent also been moved?

AntiX has apparently not moved, but seeding both versions of MX-18.1 from archive.org
Am also seeding MX-18 from Distrowatch, see there an updated MX-18.1.
Hope to see DistroWatch updated in the next few days...

If you someone is running a copy of MX that may contain malware from the previous link, would seeding from the new source also contain that malware?
Do we all need to install a new copy of MX from the clean source before we start seeding from it?

No. The malware is on the site itself, not in the iso files. You can also double-check the md5 of your iso file from the md5's posted on our download page. It would be hard to infect an iso file via bittorrent because if just one person tries to seed the torrent with a known good iso file then the jig is up.turtlebay777 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 14, 2019 1:31 amIf you someone is running a copy of MX that may contain malware from the previous link, would seeding from the new source also contain that malware?

You can also get md5 files from our source forge site. The md5 files are very small and download almost instantly.
