having problems connecting to LinuxTracker

#1 Post by kesuda » Sun Jan 22, 2012 4:56 pm

with excessively long page loads (if they load at all).

I've checked to make sure I wasn't just running the router or firewall too tight (again).

At first I thought they were having issues at their end, but my torrents seem to be running fine.

Anyone else having troubles connecting?

Thanks.

I'm having the same result here.
The connection has timed out

The server at linuxtracker.org is taking too long to respond.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
The site is probably just experiencing a temporary problem.

You didn't slow down because you're old; you're old because you slowed down.

That happens occasionally there.

I got an email a few days ago about a contest in Feb. The site is still down at this time.

None of my torrents seem to be working - all show Status as Seeding with the error symbol and "Error: Invalid response from tracker" on the tracker tab in KTorrent 4.0.2.

The web site is most always relatively slow to load - seems normal today, but a couple of days ago when I first noticed the problem, the web site would eventually load, but would time out more often than it would load.

Anyhow, I have deleted a couple of the torrents, downloaded and re-started them, with the same error.

Any help or suggestions where to look to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Linuxtracker is behaving tonight

Code: Select all

--- linuxtracker.org ping statistics ---
19 packets transmitted, 19 received, 0% packet loss, time 18023ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 72.075/74.522/81.947/2.251 ms
...but even when it was slow and unreachable via http these past few days, I did not get the error you are seeing...using Deluge 1.3.1

Are you still getting the errors now that the site is back to reasonable performance?
