I was at the dealership this morning and needed to use the facilities.. so.. go in there and get confronted with this:

Now.. my butt is bigger than my boob area.. should I take the left door?

What about us blokes with "fried chicken cemeteries" aound our middle areas? Neither of those figurines seems to match.

It could.. if we draw some legs underneath the things.. closest match would be the left door for you then.. for me too, just my cemetery is a little lower than yours *giggle*

That is funny. When I was in Flanders it was not a problem. Unisex bathrooms were common in the 90's. Being unaware of this, the first time a lady walked in while I was, well you know, I panicked.

I would assume door left was a skirt and door right was suggesting muscular shoulders, based upon the symbols I am familiar with.

People Downunder are still a bit anxious about non-binary gender allocation, although single cubicle unisex toilets are common in public locations, perhaps maximising availability and replacing the traditional male/female toilet block of old.

A male entering the wrong shared facility would be considered suspicious and nefarious in somewhere like a shopping complex or sporting facility, which is quite a cultural distance from some European customs and attitudes.

At least the one advantage I had was that whichever door I picked, there was one toilet right behind it, so not an entire area with several.

I don't think the toilet would mind which bum sat down on it *chuckle*

Mind.. this picture wasn't posted to jump start a discussion on what gender goes where and if that mattered.

It was more.. "what the hell does this mean, which is ladies and which is gents?"

I was seriously confused lol
