Is it possible to open-source a web app?

#1 Post by vancouver »

Hi,
I am interested in converting and releasing some commercial web apps as open source software.
My startup is now mostly using Linux and it would be nice to give away some of our work to the community.
Nether my business partner nor I know how to do this and would love to get some pointers if possible. Thanks. -

There are thousands of open source web apps... WordPress is one of the largest.

Here's a list of some: https://www.wikiwand.com/en/List_of_fre ... plications
