Distrowatch are currently running a poll to see which distro should replace Mageia in its Major Distributions section, the choices are:

Manjaro

or leave Mageia on the page.

TBH I wouldn't vote for any of them - none are 'Major' imho

Sorry, but I think this is a waste of time since the word "major" is not defined to begin with and the poll has quickly devolved into semantics.
Production: 5.10, MX-23 Xfce, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 16 GB, SSD 120 GB, Data 1TB
Personal: Lenovo X1 Carbon with MX-23 Fluxbox and Windows 10
Other: Raspberry Pi 5 with MX-23 Xfce Raspberry Pi Respin

That thought did cross my mind as well.

I voted in this poll to "Leave Mageia on the page" but I think Jerry3904 is right about it being a waste of time. I've been having fun wasting some time reading the opinions about this in the comments section there.

Could someone explain to me why I should care what Distro Watch does as long as it's not slanderous or libelous?
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
Aspire V5-571; CPU Intel I3; 500 GB SSD; Intel 2nd Gen Graphics; 8 GB Ram
Aspire XC-866; i3-9100; UHD 630; 8 GB ram; 1TB HDD

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

Hola gente Los invito a todos a votar por MX_Linux como la nueva distribución que debería ser listada como un proyecto importante en DistroWatch.
Este es el enlace para votar:
