A most interesting mix of distros are listed. The normal 'listees' are noticeably absent.

most aren't very "new" though....
Desktop: Intel i5-4460, 16GB RAM, Intel integrated graphics

Right. I reacted to the use of "new" as well in that context. Probably aimed at some readers to whom some of the distros could be new. I don't know.
