someone should contact softpedia.com & provide updated details for the MX Linux listing there (or, maybe the process is "request a new review"?)

It's nice that after a while after the release there's still a lot of interest, I see MX in top ten for last 3 month, and on 11 for month span although we haven't had any news released in the meantime.

Although the initial surge of downloads has dropped, there is still continuing activity on the MX torrents, many from Eastern Europe and Brazil.

Word of mouth on various Facebook linux groups, from happy satisfied MX users (such as yours truly), and lately MX discoverers.

Distrowatch just counts hits on links and has nothing to do with how good a distro is. That's why you don't see it up in the top ten. If distrowatch based it on quality one of those distros in the top ten would be on the bottom and MX way up around the top.

mx17_lxf_mention.png

...And here is a mention of MX17 on page 9 of the February 2018 issue of Linux Format. So, that should create some additional buzz in the UK.
