Ran the update, still no dice for me in mx tools mx flash manager on the Adobe flash, "not installed".

Am I doing something wrong? I updated the package mx-flash (16.10mx16+1) to 16.10mx16+2 in synaptic and went inside mx tools - mx flash manager to install it.

I just asked Tim to update it, the good version is 16.10mx16+3, it might pop up later on (depending on the server you use for updates).

If you are in a rush to try it you can download it from here:

Got the version in the US repo. Works fine. It is the 16.10mx16+3. Hit USA quickly.

I suspect MX Flash Manager has acquired a greater lever of self-awareness from my experience today. I found basic flash not installed and pepperflash indicating an updated version was available, so I gather old flash was removed during routine system updates, in preparation for the new basic flash to replace it. The corresponding radio buttons and options also hid or appeared as relevant to the process above, minimising any potential confusion, to give me a final result in the accompanying image, via NZ mirrors, if flash updates reflect my repo manager settings. Very nicely done from my perspective, thanks.
