Packages being worked on by the Repo Team

#1 Post by Stevo » Wed Apr 20, 2016 10:54 pm

I thought I'd start this thread to let other packagers know what's going on, so we won't collide.

I've done freefilesync 8.0, for MX 15--won't build on M12.

audio-recorder 1.7.5 for MX 15--also won't build on M12.

slowmovideo 0.5 for MX 15 and M12.

Deadbeef 0.7.1 for MX 15 and M12

Liquorix kernel 4.5-2 for MX 15

mystuff 2.5 for M12 and MX 15

plank 0.11.1 for MX 15--might be doable for M12.

obs-studio_0.13.4 for MX 15. Built fine and installs, but can't test. Don't have camera or mic. Here are the packages if someone with camera and mic could try.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_C2mB ... sp=sharing

ddm_0.5.4, for MX 15. Might be nice if it can be incorporated to use the MX repo versions of drivers.

notepadqq_0.50.6, for MX 15--wont' build for M12.

wcm-commander_0.20, for MX 15--won't build for M12.

qwinff - builds and installs, but nothing happens. Cannot even launch from terminal to try and debug. Not sure whats up with that. Probably my build mods. :p It's all yours if you really want it Stevo.

cmus_2.7.1+git20160225, won't build for MX 15 or M12. Fails at cmus-plugin-ffmpeg.

OK, I'll look at qwinff. I see the Ubuntu Handbook PPA has mupdf 1.9, if you want to give that a try.

In the works if all build without to much difficulty. If you are interested in helping just post which ones. Thanks goes to Ubuntu Mate Welcome. Take a look, there are so many more goodies I haven't even labeled yet. Some are available from upstream Debian as upgrades and others are available in Launchpad.

Working today on the basic multimedia stack from upstream Debian, in this order

x265-1.9
ffmpeg 3.0.1
mplayer 1.3.0

x265 used to be a quick compile; now it's taking quite a while...it's supposed to be a lot faster in transcoding now.
