Good to hear it! ;)

As they say here:
https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2019/07/fol ... ndle-files

citation:
Foliate 1.5.0 saw release this weekend and it brings a major change: support for more ebook formats.
Foliate is now able to open .mobi, .azw and .azw3 files and display pages singularly or in the two-pane layout.
Foliate 1.5.0 now allows annotations to be exported to HTML, plain text or JSON (which is handy if you regularly move between devices). This update also intros basic text-to-speech support using eSpeak NG and Festival (you’ll need those dependencies installed on your system to make use of it).

I'm excited ;)

It's built and it works to open those new book formats, but I haven't tested the TTS yet. I put a link to the deb in the Foliate thread if you want it early.

It works fine as always, thank you! ;)

Foliate opens mobi. Espeak works, but I would like to find a way to use/install Ivona Text to Speech with MX (or Linux) or other better TTS than espeak (for Linux).

Export of notes feature is really great, I've tested with export to txt - it can be used for extra quick machine translation of documents, for learning etc.

Even better, exports to HTML keep notes hilighting colours ;)

I don't know (yet) what can I do with .json format, but for sure there is some kind of application.

It is easy to make epub document with Calibre (Libre Office exports to epub file, but these epubs not always work/look fine with Folio) from .odt or .rtf and use such epub with Foliate.

I got a better voice using festival-tts, but I may have manually installed that voice following some random internet guide a while ago...

Minitube 3.1 native Youtube search and viewer from Sid, since all older versions are now broken.
Debian is providing the private Google API key in the package build now.

Edit: Oracle released the latest 5.2.32 version of the Virtual Box 5 series today, and I'm working on that, since Debian and Ubuntu aren't.

Virtual Box 6.0.10 from Sid for MX 19 and 17/18.

Edit: the new xsnow 2.0.8 that works on modern desktops, including XFCE, KDE, GNOME, etc., and has a GUI for the settings.

A rebuild of Foliate 1.5.1 with a change in dependencies per the developer.

FreeCad 0.18.3, at least for MX 19. MX 17-18 TBD.

Waterfox 56.2.12 for MX 19. Keeps getting build errors on MX 17/18.
