That's an upstream bomi issue, right?

It doesn't look like anybody has done any work on Bomi for a while, so it may be abandoned. If it does the same thing in an Ubuntu with a newer Qt 5, I'd bet on the problem being a bug in Bomi instead of Qt 5.
