You have tex listed in your installed packages, but it's not a package on it's own so I'm wondering which tex you are refering to here?
tex
Other than this one everything has built fine so once I get this info I will rebuild.

Alright, here are packages for lyx2.2 that you guys can test. At the moment you will notice that there will be no icon in whiskermenu :frown: so I am going to hold off on sending them to Tim until I can get that fixed. Let me know if you run into anything or would like something added.
Thanks!

I can get it to display a icon by adding a /usr/share/pixmaps/lyx2.2.xpm -> /usr/share/pixmaps/lyx2.2-32x32.xpm symlink.

I think you can do that by creating a debian/lyx2.2.links file with the following:

Code: Select all

usr/share/pixmaps/lyx2.2-32x32.xpm usr/share/pixmaps/lyx2.2.xpm
I can also get it to display the icon by changing the icon line in the .desktop file to 'Icon=lyx2.2-32x32', but it looks like whatever it is that creates the .desktop file is buried somewhere in the source, so adding a link in the debian folder is easier IMO.

@v3g4n

Downloaded and installed. Tested main functions, no problems. Will continue to use this version today and report any issues.

Thanks,
Gordon.

I will be sending this to Tim, but don't worry I can send a rebuild if there are changes needed.
Thanks all for testing!

Many thanks. Will be tomorrow before I look at this seriously, just cooking dinner, then there's a football match to watch. So far, have not found any bugs. Seems to be some problems with the Mac version but that is not us!

So glad everything is working so far and will :crossfingers: that is continues. Hope that some of the new features make the fantastic work you all are doing with documentation a bit easier.
