Re: Calling for MX-18 conkies
I like richb's suggestion. Good and concise without being overwhelming.

@asqwerth and richb: I am working on the conkies now, so please PM me yours. Remember that at the very least each conky folder needs script, png, and source.txt.

I am including some new ones that I have found and like, here is a preview of a couple (the "futuriste" one I haven't yet edited to get rid of the Arch stuff and translate all into English):

Re: Calling for MX-18 conkies
I wish there was a handy switch on the default desktop to turn off this annoying feature. It seems that whenever someone makes a new or updated distro they fill it with resource consuming trash that just annoys people and make the computer slower.

Conky toggle is in the menu.
Don't like it, don't use it--but don't just complain.

And I thought conky toggle was even in the Favourites section of the Whisker menu so it's visible.

Re: Calling for MX-18 conkies
It's not in Favourites section on mine, I just looked. Found it buried in the 'All' section. Wish it was easier to find.
