Re: Calling for submissions - MX17 wallpapers
OK, this is just a suggestion, But, here goes:
I think anti-x and MX are mature distros in the sense that they are quite recognizable in the Linux OS community. Given that rather lofty status, I wonder if its time to consider things like branding. When it comes to artwork / wallpaper (at least the default wallpaper), this might require some consideration for a consistent theme or "look and feel" that ties to the branding. When folks turn on their computer and boot to the MX desktop what imagery would support the brand?
OK, back to my morning coffee. :)

You and others might think about using one of the tools built into Screenshot for online storage that gives you the forum code you need to paste into your post instead of the whole image.

To clarify, this thread only needs to hold the requested information/details for each pic submitted, not the pics themselves. You could just post the links to the community WP pages where your pics have been uploaded.

Now fixed, though they weren't technically the pics themselves, only the DeviantArt preview images. The actual submitted images are at the requested 1920x1200 format.asqwerth wrote:To clarify, this thread only needs to hold the requested information/details for each pic submitted, not the pics themselves. It did take an awful lot of space in the thread though and I would have like to have shown smaller previews, sorry :)

A good suggestion, and one that the Devs have discussed in the past and likely will again. Thanks.whell wrote:OK, this is just a suggestion, But, here goes:
