Is antix only a Desktop Environment like xfce is? (So I could simply replace xfce through antix in an activ system?)
Or is this another Linux-distribution like Ubuntu, Knoppix, MX Linux?

Re: antiX
A web search for the antiX website would have answered your question. From https://antixlinux.com/about/:
(bold and italic fonts mine)antiX is a fast, lightweight and easy to install systemd-free linux live CD distribution based on Debian Stable for Intel-AMD x86 compatible systems.

Re: antiX
both the MX project and the anti-X project, do use the xfce desktop, by default.
both are also independent of each other, although there is some cross- collaboration being used.
& thus they are both another Linux-distribution like Ubuntu, Knoppix are also.

Re: antiX
... No, for MX (XFCE + lightdm) for antiX it is ICEWM + slim by default (XFCE is only an option)
