Man that looks fantastic! I installed it on my personal laptop (love the improvements in the Installer) and made a quick look around--really a fabulous first beta.

I went through the Control Centre, and found it generally very clear and responsive. The only thing I will look at again is the Live category, where the top entry on each column appears at first glance to be the same thing: I am not on it at the moment so can't put the exact wording.

More later--congrats to all involved.
Production: 5.10, MX-23 Xfce, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 16 GB, SSD 120 GB, Data 1TB
Personal: Lenovo X1 Carbon with MX-23 Fluxbox and Windows 10
Other: Raspberry Pi 5 with MX-23 Xfce Raspberry Pi Respin

Cool! Now I can finally test it on my 32-bit netbook (currently running antiX 17.4.) I'll also try to test it on my 64-bit desktop in live USB mode, and will also test the 64-bit installer if I get time. (I still have to test them both with MX.)

antiX Control Center > Shares > ConnectShares Configuration
1 Find shares - OK

2 Nominate shares
3 Create
4 Delete
2,3,4 all just revert to 1 - they are not working

Just tried 32 bit live in virtualbox. It fails the same way.

Tried it, but can't connect to the internet - have left comments & details of what I tried on the antiX forum.

First thing a distro must do for me is connect to the internet via wifi.

Neither connman nor ceni seem to be working.

no problem with internet connection. (broadcom wireless)

however, there is a couple of items

1. the installer needs a way to disable the automounting. "pkill devmon" works with rox desktops, but spacefm desktop probably needs to be set to not automount (the spacefm desktop dameon, not devmon). then killing devmon would work there too. OR the spacefm manual recommends "pkill spacefm" in this instance as well. Which makes me think maybe we need a spot in the installer for custom code to run to disable things like automount. we kill xfce's already.

2. the installer is offering the live USB as a target device. That should be filtered out (I know the guys have been playing around with the disk detection. this is the first I'm had a chance to try it).

forwarding items 1 and 2 to adrian and AK-47

3. also confirming the problem with connectshares dialog boxes.
