[SOLVED Twice]Lost Menu Editor.

#1 Post by GuiGuy »

I have used the Menu Editor a couple of times, but it no longer appears in Control Center, and I cant find it anywhere else: how can I get it back?

And now screenshot is borked: guess I must reinstall!

You can go to MX Tweak in MX Tools and try to restore the stuff you think is borked. ;)

You can also use MXPI to install mx-apps (meta package). That may reinstall what you 'fixed'.

I am talking about AntiX, not MX.

Pretty similar... try to find the equivalent function(s) in the "Control Center" or in cli-aptiX.

I'm back and posting from AntiX. All better now.
Now for updates: hope they don't wreck it!

Thanks for trying to help.

Now in fully-updated antiX 17.4.1 with Menu Editor working OK.
My problems now:-
Applications are very slow to start.
Cannot install my (network) printer and browser cannot see the CUPS server.

Advice welcome.
