Antix 17.4 can't install 4.20.12 Kernel in Live Media

#1 Post by namida12 »

Do I need to reboot for this to take effect? Maybe not possible to use Package installer for this Kernel upgrade while running from Live media?

Or might this be AMD Ryzen/MSI Motherboard related problem?

on a live USB, you need to do a remaster, then use live-kernel-updater to finish installing the kernel into the live system.

I've got a video on the process here: https://youtu.be/UWvwbwTGOZ8

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

Thank you... I am getting old, cranky, and most of all forgetful.
