Unable to configure Xorg

#1 Post by Dernafrest404 »

hi
I'm trying to install antix net on my pc asus Eee PC.
I would like to install xorg as wm and then use fluxbox. The problem is that I can not configure Xorg because it gives me this error:

Code: Select all

vesa: Ignoring device with a bound kernel driver
Number of created screens does not match number of detected devices.
Configuration failed.
I search a lot of forum but I don't know how to resolve this issue
Thanks

You did not mention what your GPU (or IGP chip) is ?
Could you post the output of the following commands (run as root)

Code: Select all

# lspci | grep -i VGA
# inxi -G
# cat /proc/cmdline
