I don't have an antiX installation at the moment, so I don't know.
I'm referring to the dd option, by the way.
MX-LUM's dd functionality does not work for me, while the dd option in live-usb-maker-gui does, on the same USB stick.

Re: (solved)live-usb-maker does not work for me
That's strange, can you use the new MX-LUM I posted with logging enabled and report, it should simply do a dd, I see no reason why that would not work.
Re: (solved)live-usb-maker does not work for me
Here's the log. COuld it be because there is a space between the 2 words in my folder called "Linux Downloads"? But note that the deprecated live-usb-maker-gui works with this folder.

Re: (solved)live-usb-maker does not work for me
Interesting since my live-usb-maker GUI the one that is on this system (not the newer one, haven't tried that yet) also has to work with directories that have spaces in the names.

Could you try with the iso in another folder with no spaces and see if it still fails.

OK, looks like it works in a folder with no spaces!anticapitalista wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 12:49 pmCould you try with the iso in another folder with no spaces and see if it still fails.
I think I got confused because previously when dolphin asked us to test his MX-LUM appimage, I had got a error message even in a folder with no spaces, so I thought it wasn't going to work anyway:

Re: (solved)live-usb-maker does not work for me
I made a change in the MX-LUM to allow for spaces in source dir. Update will come soon from the pool.

Re: (solved)live-usb-maker does not work for me
Decided to give it a go with the iso in a non spaces folder.. and yep it is running.
Good catch about the spaces in the source location!
